It's hard to believe! Sher Pelvic Health and Healing is now TWO. A dream come true! I had a dream to create a boutique style, private pelvic health PT practice- one that would allow me, and eventually a full team, to see patients for longer visits for improved care. I feel grateful to have the chance to provide this level of care. This is possible because of the many patients and their family members who believe in this mission and trust our care! Thank you so very much!! Yes, the dream is a reality. In the past two years, patients came in from all over Florida and the US - Virginia, Rhode Island, Georgia, and Texas and the Bahamas; and even as far away as Switzerland and Thailand. Over the years, I've heard patients say: * My doctor just told me to see a psychiatrist *Since they can't find anything wrong, they think I am exaggerating *This is so embarrassing. I waited for years to share this and when I did no one took it seriously. * Everyone tried to help me, but they didn't know enough about pelvic pain. Sher Pelvic Health and Healing is a place for hope - a place to discuss private issues regarding pelvic and sexual health. We now have an incredible office manager, Alma Bautista. She goes above and beyond to make sure our patients are happy and that operations are smooth. Other highlights: ***We hosted two very successful community events in October 2014 1. Sex, Chocolate, and Your Pelvic Floor with The Women's Health Foundation as the inspiration 2. Get Your Groove Back After Baby ***Tracy was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Pelvic Pain Society. The conference in Chicago went very well this past year. She also had a chance to teach her pelvic pain course internationally in Israel and nationally in San Diego and Boston. ***We added women's wellness appointments and started some wellness packages.
